Young artists will explore a variety of art media and techniques with creative and engaging projects, including drawing, painting, printmaking, clay sculpture, and more. Projects incorporate themes related to art history, nature, animal studies, and more. See each date for specific themed projects for each PA day. Maximum 10 students. Ages 6 to 12.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 19 -POLAR REGIONS Students will look at animals from the North and South Poles in developing their art creations, whether inspired by nature or fantastical beasts. Mixed media is in the morning, and polar bear iceberg bowls will be created in the afternoon.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16- ARTISTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD -Students will look at contemporary mural artists such as local artists The Dreamers and international artists Kobra and Keith Haring that will inspire them to create their own artist style and artwork in painting and clay.
